Jikarn'lo Far below Kalmarund lies the Goblin native ground. The structure of Jikarn'lo is much closer to that of a hive than a city. It is a whirlwind of activity, and very cramped. It is also quite primitive, but very clean and orderly, unlike the popular conception of the 'filthy, vile goblin'. Few that are not Goblins would even be able to make it down to this depth. Zeralgi Not actually the Demon 'homeland', seeing as the Demons typically reside in another dimension. This is actually just a neglected city with rundown buildings and a typically gypsy-like existence. The short lifespan of demons doesn't really allow for proper ownership and maintenance of the buildings here. As shabby as it sounds, Demons are naturally drawn here, and they throw some great parties on occasion. In fact, other than gladiator-style fights, parties are pretty much the only thing worth going here for. Moderator: Gaia

The Aretas Immortalis Cult, a group formed for the sole purpose of reviving the great demon Aretas, attacked Raewyn Island, center for Thaumaturgy International, the governing body of the magical world. No one had seen the attack coming, and the valiant defenders of the island struggled to fight back against the cult. The Inner Sanctum, the chambers of the Chancellor of TI, had been overrun by Xarxes, the head of the cult and Abadon, his apprentice.
All appeared lost…
But a young man, one Torin DeInnes stepped up. Rallying a group of battle-weary defenders, he led them through the ranks of the Cult, decimating far larger squads. Eventually, Torin and his men would arrive at the Sanctum. There they would find the bodies of the Chancellor’s elite guard, and Chancellor Damian Fidelis himself. The master wizard faced off against Xarxes and Abadon. The group rushed to the aid of Chancellor Fidelis.
Noticing his loyal men, Fidelis attempted to warn them, and that is when Xarxes struck the mortal blow.
Thrilled with his victory, Xarxes turned to face Torin and his men, shaking with laughter. His joy left him as he noticed Torin, and he froze, murmuring of “the foreseen one.”
Torin, enraged by the death of the chancellor, unleashed powerful magick on Xarxes, striking the leader dead. Abadon, furious but fearing for his life, stole the body and fled the island.
Duty done, Torin approached Fidelis. The dying chancellor bestowed the mantle upon the valiant young man, and with it, the burden of immortality.
Fast forward three hundred some odd years.
TI, under Chancellor DeInnes, oversees a thriving magical world. The stalwart defenders of the realm protect the Veil, and with it, all the magical world. The Academy of Thaumaturgy, under leadership of President Kyana Galatea and Dean Michael Mosley, continues to instruct the vibrant young minds in the ways of the magical world. The Modern Arcane Guild of Inventors (better known as MAGI), lead by the charismatic playboy Nicholas J. Traptory, continues to develop more magical technology for the thriving magical world.
All seems to be peaceful, but what awaits in the shadows?
