(Flag is a spell. General Use, Level 1. Simple stuff, Dieter'd know what it is :3)
Cylo swelled a little, glad that his ideas had been accepted. "Yeah, I liked them too," he said nonchalantly, though in reality it was more smug than anything. He put his arms on the back of his head and stretched, eager to get going.
"Got anyone specific in mind? Hero is a pretty loner position, I don't really know any recruits," he admitted. In fact, if it wasn't for Dieter being so high-ranking, he probably wouldn't know him either.
So we just going to use NPCs for recruits? Feel free to RP them yourself in this situation. :3

((NPC's work fine for me))
Dieter looked to his left and right. The lobby was a place where a lot of new people waited to be assigned. Ergo, this area was a perfect place to find new recruits. To normal people one would just ask a secretary for a sheet listing new poeple who just havn't had their ID laminated or for the stack of laminated ID's ready for those who were new. Dieter thought such a plan might just take a little bit more effort than he particularly cared for at the moment. Instead he decided on shouting "Hey new guy!" with no particular direction keeping his eye open for whoever looked up, turned around to look, or in other wise reacted.
Only a newbie would react in such a way if someone with an authoritative voice shouted.
((I want you to decide if that actually works.))

A pair of heads swivelled toward each other to face the source of the shout, and subsequently smashed into each other, causing the owners of said heads to fall to the floor in a loud and painful manner. The dazed duo shook their heads in unison and helped each other onto their respective feet, doing a good deal of dramatic dusting off of their clothing. One of them finally turned to Dieter.
"Did you call me, sir?" he asked animatedly.
"Or were you, perhaps, referring to me?" the other countered eagerly. It was obvious at this short distance that the two were brothers, and above and beyond that, twins. They were young and sturdy looking, solid frame, sensible haircuts if a little on the long side, looked human at first glance (they were).
"Eh, I'm sure we can use you both," Cylo said cautiously. These two looked like they had more energy than he did, and seeing as he was a demon, that was saying something. A smirk came to his face and he raised his gun lightning quick until it was levelled at one of the pair's face. There was only a small pause before Cylo pulled the trigger.
"Bang!"
The young man, to his credit, didn't even flinch, though there was a look of utter surprise on his face during the moment before the gun went off. But the look shifted to a smug one almost immediately as he appeared unaffected by the shot.
"What?" said Cylo incredulously, as a fiery x smacked him in the face. "How did you do that?" he demanded, though as he tested a theory and dismissed the spell, he figured he had a pretty good idea.
"I Reflected it," said the non-threatened of the two.
"He Reflected it," repeated the smug one.
"'He Reflected it'," mocked Cylo, "Of course he did! That's why it jumped on my face! I mean how? He didn't move or say anything."
"Yes I did, I'm quiet," said one in a quiet voice.
"Yes he did! He's got quick reflexes," said the other one quickly.
"He's got quick reflexes? Is he..." said Cylo, looking at the one, "I mean, are you..." he continued, turning to the other, "a demon or something?"
"No," answered the wrong one, "he just has quick reflexes."
"And I'm quiet," interjected the other.
"He's apparently got quick reflexes," Cylo commented in Dieter's direction. "They'll do, right?" He turned back to the two. "You work here right? What are your names and positions?"
"Billy Warren, Enforcer," answered the one who had been shot, giving a quick salute.
"Ed Warren, Angel," added the other with a similar salute, though he added, "We're new!"
"And we're twins!" Billy announced.
"Couldn't tell," said Cylo in dismissal, turning back to Dieter and giving him a look that said, 'Well?'

Dieter smiled, "I must say I like your style. I must also say you'll have to be working on separate teams. Your teamwork is superb so I'll have you do something you guys probably aren't all that used to." He looked around and saw someone's head duck back down. He knew they'd looked when he shouted. He also knew enough that they were trying too hard to be inconspicuous. Perfect.
"Hey you, red hair, with a streak, hiding behind that row of chairs." Everyone next to the individual inched a seat over. The person sulked before standing up and facing Dieter. A girl with raven black hair with a single red streak going down her left side framed her face. She was of average height and definately above average looks.
"I'm an enforcer, just out of the academy. Class of 08." She sighed, "my brother said if a guy with long black hair and a cheery disposition asked you to do anything say no."
"You going to listen to him. Because what if I told you if you did well you could expect a letter of recommendation from the head of the Seraphs if you did particularly well." Dieter wasn't above bribery. He was also going to see if the person was wisely cautious or bold. Either would be a good thing.
"He told me you'd try to bribe me."
"So." Dieter said indignantly.
"He also said you wouldn't care either way. I'm in. It looks like fun and it might get me out of that seminar on sexual harassment." She didn't smile once while speaking. For a woman with such good looks she didn't smile once. Dieter figured that it'd be something he could get her to do. People who never smile, in Dieter's opinion, were the ones who needed to most.
"What's your name?"
"Sharice."
"Excellent."
Another mousy guy with immaculately combed and parted hair wearing thick glasses tripped over a chair leg as he rushed toward Cylo and Dieter. Gasping for air, he said, "Angel Hendrics, Private first class trained class of 08." He took another deep inhale, "I'd like to take you up on your offer whatever it is."
"This looks good Cylo. Now to assemble some Seraphs and Dragoons." Dieter smiled as he said it. Today would be far from boring.

"Damn it," muttered Billy, "this always happens..."
"We should've pretended we didn't know each," mumbled Ed.
"Yeah, like that'd work," said Billy sarcastically.
The two began quibbling outright.
Cylo shook his head at them and turned to the others, a hottie and a nerd apparently. Cylo did a double-take. A very hottie, he corrected himself.
"Dragoons? What do we need them for? I thought this was exclusively Seraphs and newbies? And," he added, "don't expect me to be rounding up anyone anyway, especially Seraphs. That's your deal; us Heroes are pretty much loners. I don't think I could even name another Hero without looking it up."
He was content to stare, quite obviously, at Sharice as he waited for an answer. From what he had seen of her in this short time, she didn't seem like the type to care enough to tell him off for staring, and he was fine with that.
"Can I have her as my newbie?" he muttered under his breath, not to anyone in particular but not really caring if anyone heard him either. This girl was fine, and at times like this, he had no shame.

Dieter sighed, "good point, I have to think smaller on these things." Dieter paused, yes he did like the idea of using Sharice, she seemed cool and all however this was a training exercise. They needed the most green and desperate guy out of the bunch. Especially if he lacked confidence. "Nah Sharice will be with four seraphs. We get Hendricks. Sorry Cylo I don't think she's your type." Dieter paused and put his phone to his ear. Dieter worked very hard on the schedule and assignments of Seraphs. He may brush off incident reports, veiled cover up reports, collateral damage and clean up reports. He might disregard most of the reports from seraphs that missions went smoothly on. But Dieter knew the assignments and he memorized the. He needed to know where the Seraphs were at any given time. At least the most important players. Dieter wished Ashen was here instead of on the riddiculous escort of enforcers. This would've been so fun.
Dieter held his finger to his ear and casted call. "Dispatcher I need Kim.. the Korean Kim not the secretary Kim, and I need Thomas, Nigel, Maurene, Nehali, Michelle. Tell bring one of their subordinates and meet me at the lobby." Dieter sighed he couldn't make it four per group. If he did he wouldn't have enough reserves ready for action. These were the guys who needed the training most anyway.
"Each of you guys gets to pick two Seraphs to team up with. Hope you guys enjoy this." Dieter paused, "Not you Hendricks remember you're with me and Cylo."

"Damnit Dieter, must you suck all the fun out of this?" Cylo teased, giving Sharice one last longing glance before turning to Hendricks. "All right Jim, you're going to be our partner you better be able to handle yourself. What are they teaching you kids these days? What's your minor?"
He knew the kid would major in Defensive Magic, because that was a requirement or Angels, but he wanted to know what else the kid could do. He was also perfectly aware of the fact that the guy's name was probably not Jim, but he figured if he got the reference, he must be an all right kind of guy. Call it a test of character.
Kind of ironic, he thought to himself, that I consider him a kid when he's probably my age. Ah well, being a demon just does that I guess.

Dieter knew that Cylo would then want to flirt with the girl as long as possible which meant that he'd probably toy with her. All the better she could use it to her advantage. It wasn't too long before the Seraphs showed up. Dieter loved seeing his Seraphs in action. Most people mistake the gueling training sessions as Dieter getting his thrills at the expense of others. Dieter thought of them as crucial to the development of competent Seraphs. As the world was chaos and would throw something you wouldn't expect in your way. Dieter felt to do the same was only a practical method of training Seraphs. Seraphs may learn superior tactics and have experience which the Angels were lacking, but what they needed to have was the capacity to think in difficult situations, to react decisively to any trick that they faced. They had to move and react faster than their enemies who alread had the leg up on them because they could plan their assault. Seraphs could only do the best they could to react.
Kim (not the secretary but the Korean) was a short man with neat hair and an immaculate suit. He looked like a business man with the exception he carried a claymore in a case on his back. His accomplice was McCullic, a Scotsman who's arms were the size of trees. Dieter knew the two to be a combo that worked well together and their teamwork was par none.
Thomas looked like he belonged as an extra on an 80's distopian future biker gang. He wore jeans, a crummy T-shirt with the sleeves cut off, and had a green mohawk. He wore spikes on every article he could and knew how to fight with them. The team mate he had with him was Toutoa, a goblin who knew how to maximize her small stature to speed into handy positions to provide forcefields.
Nehali was a tall Indian woman and she ware a vibrant Sati, instead of bringing a subordinate she brought her superior in the order, Helayanai. Helayanai exhibits elven grace in every move she makes. She was an elven beauty and seen as an exemplary artist by almost everyone. She knew and sang songs traditional elven songs well, recited epics as well as a scholar, wrote poetry, and painted wonderful landscapes. Superior to all of these was her talent in elven martial arts. She knew the style very well and injected defense spells and charms, considering curses to be unbecoming of her. That and she couldn't muster the will to do so much harm to someone with a spell. Also she would be Dieter's cousin had Dieter still been considered alive and an Elf. Thus she always referred to him as Helyanwe instead of Dieter.
Dieter stopped at Helayanai, "well Helayanai its good to see you. I assume your presence here meant that crossing to that station in Peru was accomplished before schedule."
"well I finished and happened to come across a plane a few miles away. I must say Helyanwe you should try flying them sometimes."
"I've seen the videos of plane crashes. I just don't trust those pilots. I'll walk or stow away like most people. I haven't gotten a job yet where the plane was the only viable option and I intend to keep it that way."
Helayanai smiled and said, "I know you said subordinates but Nehali asked me to come because she sensed a training session. May I participate."
Dieter smiled, "of course, that means Nigel, Maureen and Michelle aren't necessary and are excused." The remaining present Seraphs stood ready. They knew better than to let out a sigh, to do so would be to volunteer for the training. "Instead they must go to the gym for a full prescribed seraph workout."
The excused Seraphs saluted and filed out orderly toward the gym. Dieter then filled the rest of the seraphs in on the new training project that they were so fortunate to acquire Cylo's aid for.
Every Seraph there smiled at the thought of this exercise. This indeed would be a fun and interesting day. Too fun and interesting to opt into going to the gym.

Cylo waved a hand in front of Hendricks' face impatiently when his question went unanswered. "Hello? You there? What's your minor, buddy?" He turned to Dieter with a frown. "I think he's broken, Die. Can I get a new one?" He sent a hopeful glance toward Sharice.
Meanwhile, the bickering between the twins ended as Billy put Ed in a headlock and Ed subsequently punched him in the gut, causing the other to let go and back off to nurse his stomach. They both stood there glaring at each other and rubbing various sore spots before they heard Dieter's comment. They both turned to give him their full attention, previous scuffle completely forgotten.
"We get to pick?" they exclaimed with glee (and in unison).
"Icallthechicks!" Billy said rapidly, before Ed had a chance to react.
"Aw, damn you William, I'm supposed to be the quick one!" Ed said disappointedly.
"Don't call me William, Edward." Billy snapped. "And pick your Seraphs."
"Fine. I want the cool looking ones," he said, pointing to Thomas in case anyone had differing opinions on which ones were 'cool'.

Hendricks, the private first class, straightened and saluted, "multidimensional theory focusing on the T-grid system and repair sir. If there was a problem in the T-grid it could affect deployment of Enforcers, also more efficient T-grid systems produced cheaper than our current ones could-" Hendricks found T-grids fascinating but he loved to work as an Angel. His father was an Angel and impressed how Angels and Seraphs were where real men ended up. That real men protected and healed people keeping others out of harm and thinking of others before themselves.
Dieter had to interrupt the young man, "That's enough Thomas I think you've answered the question." Dieter himself felt that getting the exercise moving was the best thing to do. Dieter noticed that Mr. Kim and Mr. McCullic were exchanging approving glances at Sharice and she seemed to have naturally fallen in with them. As a result it seemed there were no objections to the seraphs to which they've been assigned. Dieter then continued before people had a chance to interrupt his talking, "Well lets get this underway. To the obstacle course and training fields."

"Multidimensional Theory? Did you guys learn about the experiment that tried to determine whether or not teleportation was just wormhole manipulation? Or the counter-theory that explained wormholes as teleportation fields created by magic users in other systems? I read a good deal of material on that stuff."
Yes, contrary to popular belief (that he usually didn't bother to correct) he was more than a pretty face.
"I'll race you there, Billy!" said Ed enthusiastically.
"What are you, two years old?" The sarcasm was evident in Billy's voice.
"What are you, afraid of losing?" Ed countered, beginning to run on the spot.
"Oh no you didn't," said Billy with a smirk, running past the stationary figure of Ed.
"Hey, no fair!"
They both took off past Cylo and Hendricks at breakneck speed.
Cylo squeezed to one side as the twins ran by him, shaking his head and smiling at their enthusiasm. He placed a hand on Hendricks' shoulder, motioning for him to walk and talk. Cylo was actually pretty interested in the guy now that he knew they had a common link to talk about, even if it was a little on the thinking-intensive side.
"So does that mean you hope to be able to teleport some day? I hear only the legendary magic users can do it. Hell, I'm the most powerful demon around and I can't even shift an inch."

Hendricks sighed, "No I don't ever hope to be that good. I'm really working on a mobile T-grid. It'd do wonders for deployment and reinforcements. If we could channel a spot to hale in reinforcements that'd be a real good life saver. Also it'd be great for E-vacs." As Hendricks continued talking about teleportation with Cylo Dieter became uninterested. Dieter understood some teleportation theory and magic. However the area never really suited him. Too much metaphysical theory. Dieter was a man of the here and now. Sure he liked to cheat the here and now and was far from being incapable of accomplishing anything in the field. Dieter just felt his attentions best focussed elsewhere.
Eventually they got to the obstacle course and training ground. The seraphs had already taken their protective marks and all was beginning to get ready for the hunt.
