Tiga shuddered under the table. Definately never seen that before, she decided. I don't think I wanna take notes on that part. Although I do wonder what the note thingy said. Maybe I should...no, it'd be rude to ask. Crawling out from under the table, she put her notebook back in her bag and shook her head so that her hair frizzed cutely around her head. She decided against taking a seat at the bar, and instead stood by the table--ready to dive back underneath it in case of trouble.

Weiss watched with some annoyance as the goblin tried to get away from him. The way he saw it, all rolling would do is make Weiss have to take a step to the side and kill him on the ground. Not exactly honourable, but neither was trashing a man's business over a scuffle with some random person. Weiss honestly didn't even know who this Dieter person was yet.
And so he had been just about to follow through with this plan and cut the goblin up, when some sort of deadly yo-yo came out of nowhere and took the goblin out. Weiss followed the string back to its owner and gave him a strange look. Who the hell fights with a yo-yo? Shaking his head in a confused manner, he turned back to the goblin and poked him none-too-gently with his sword. Yep, definitely dead, or at least unconscious. Either worked for him.
He bent to pick up the paper the goblin had thrown (it didn't get very far) and carefully read it.
"Well I don't have the goblin's number, so this must be for 'Dieter'," he said. He looked around at the people in the bar and waved the paper. "Any Dieters out there?" He made his way back to the bar, holding up the note for anyone to take as he walked by them all. Once he reached Tiga (the note was presumably gone by now) he reached a hand out to her in a comforting gesture. Whether she shook it, used it to support herself, or did something different entirely was up to her, but the point of the hand was simply to show his concern for her well-being so it didn't matter exactly what she did.
"Are you all right Miss? I'm sorry you had to see that, some people just have no manners. It would be my pleasure if you would allow me to get you a drink for your troubles, on the house." He offered her a warm smile.
He knew there were others to tend to as well, but this girl had obviously been the most uncomfortable with the whole situation so she got first priority. That and the fact that the other ones there weren't nearly as cute, or female.

Dieter read the note and his heart skipped a beat. "sh*t this has Val written all over it. The disposable minions, the zombies, it all points to Val. Since it can't be that I impregnated her I think its best I just don't call. Its been several years since I talked to her and I hope for many more." Dieter crumpled the note and threw it away.
Dieter whipped up his rope dart and wrapped it on his beltline and then strapped the blade. Dieter released the poison spell so his blade was clean of any of the remaining toxin. Dieter smiled and bowed to Weiss, "I'm sorry if I've caused you trouble good sir. I'll pay for the damages and a round to my friends. More guys will be here with questions undoubtedly and I'll want a good drink before then."

Almost like magic, Dieters gloves started ringing... and ringing.
(OOC: Dieter, I'll explain how she knew in a PM)

Tiga, having been at the university for eight years, had heard of many people named Val but really had no idea who the others were talking about. However, it sounded like a situation without much diplomacy, and therefore it might be an interesting case study.
Tiga, her more sensible self told her, you can't just go bardging into a vampire's life. It could be, er, unhealthy. Her more adventurous side gave a mental huff of annoyance. You never let me do anything fun. Fine, I won't. So there.
The girl snapped out of her mental argument, realizing she was trying to look stern and pouty at the same side. Stupid mental arguments, always causing trouble. Tiga straightened up and noticed Weiss's outstretched hand. Taking it, she stood and brushed herself off.
"I'm sorry, sir, I didn't mean to ignore you," she said, returning his smile. "Really, sometimes I don't know where my mind goes..." Stop babbling, the mind in question ordered. "Yes, thank you, a drink would be quite nice." She smiled again, blushing slightly.

Dieter looked at his gloves and then sighed. "If a psychotic wants to get in contact with you they're going to do it whether you want them to or not." He looked around and held his hand to his ear. It was definitely a clever trap. If dragonskin touched the note it'd immediately give Valencia a temporary means to call Dieter. Dieter would have to go back and work on some of the enchantments and power he'd stored in his gloves to make sure she couldn't track him down after this. However he'd indulge an old acquantance to a conversation. It was his nature to be polite and curteous. Even though Valencia was someone he'd rather avoid. He'd avoided confrontation and contact with her for a while and a while longer wouldn't hurt.
"Hello Valencia. How's the weather?"

"It's quite alright Miss, you wouldn't be the only one in here that misplaced their mind," he joked, gesturing to the mess of corpses across the room. He would have to deal with that... What a pleasant notion.
He gestured toward the bar with one hand and presented his other arm to Tiga in case she wished to hold on.
"Let's have a seat at the bar, now. Care for something to drink? Water? Wine?" he asked amiably, righting a stool as he proceeded.
Al peeked his head out from the back and surveyed the destruction intently.
"I can see someone bugged Weiss," he said to no one in particular, before withdrawing again. This was nothing, really. He'd seen Weiss himself do worse damage to the place. The fact that Weiss was smiling and not smashing meant all was well now anyway.

"A permanent cloud over your office building gets gloomy after a while." A small hologram of a vampire dressed a bit (A LOT) revealing, covering only what was illegal to be shown in public. "I HAVE to thank you for getting rid of that goblin. Hope he didn't cause you too much trouble. Incidentally, how did you like my bugged note? Swept one of the prototypes RIGHT from underneath an official." The figure glanced around. "Who are your well armed friends?" The figure nodded curtly at Ashen. She recognized Dieter's new lapdog well.

Tiga let her companion guide her to the bar, still pondering the events of the battle, or tiff, or whatever it had been. Switching her thoughts to drinks, she sat down on a bar stool. "Hmm, a drink. Wine would be nice, red wine I suppose." She smiled and tucked some stray pieces of hair behind her ear.

Dieter sighed, "they're just some people I know Val. Now could you please get to the point. Your zombies really stink and I have things I'd rather be doing. Like bathing in sulfuric acid." Dieter knew that there was something more than the gloom of the Arctic that made Valencia call. He didn't want to deal with her for very long but since she went through all the trouble to get him the message he had to listen to her before she would go away. Then he could go promptly back to ignoring her, well to the extent of ignoring her personally. She was too much of a powerhouse to go unchecked. If her hands touched it, it always meant trouble.

"Ooh, sulfirc acid! I could have that arranged. " Valencia laughed. "I will, ah, get to the point. Just as was said in the letter, I eed you to meet me. Certain... circumstances have propped up that I need you to... understand." Valencia's voice dropped to a low whisper. "If you don't meet me, I will meet you. Details of that meeting will be uncomfortable. Note, this concerns the fate of Vampires, and the world as we know it."
"This piece of paper should show you to my temporary location. It's near Hong-Kong, lovley place."Vale's voice rose again. "You would do well to bring the boy. It might be... educational to him." A trademark Valencia stare was directed at Ashen. Without keeping her eyes off Ashen, she announced. "Oh, and Dieter?"
"Make your dart ropes a little thicker. Last time the poison positively RUINED one of my favourite outfites when it broke."
Then the figure was gone, and it might have been a trick of the light, but the eyes seemed to linger on Ashen a second after the body was gone.

Tiga wriggled in her seat, picking up on the tense vibes radiating from the figure that had just disappeared. She shook her head, sighing mentally. Leave out of it, Tiga, she thought. It's really none of your business.
Still, she couldn't help but be curious. The vampire--Deiter, was that his name?--had greeted her, before all the ruckus had started and she'd felt compelled to hide under the table. He'd seemed nice. So had the man who'd offered her a free drink after the fight. He'd recovered very quickly--from being furious to being friendly and charming.
She sighed, twirling her hair in an absentminded manner. Was this a regular occurance, or did these people just attract trouble? Probably it was just politics...Tiga knew very little about the vampire's society, or really about most society in general, other than what she had learned at the Academy. Tiga sighed. She needed more firsthand experience and less dry textbook lectures running through her head.

Dieter knew that Valencia wouldn't be stupid and put a single meeting. She might try to speak via a zombie and remain somewhere nearby. If she was going to be there Dieter wouldn't go alone. Valencia knew that Dieter was smarter than that. Dieter would call the most powerful people in TI to go bring Valencia in. There were still questions as to what happened in the Arctic and Valencia might be able to answer a few of those.
"OK Valencia you're on. I'll bring Ashen. I hope our meeting goes somewhat peaceably. I speak only the truth. " Dieter kept his thoughts very clear and only on those words. It might be too late for Valencia to be trapped but Dieter knew in his heart she wouldn't go down easily. She'd probably use as many doubles and minions as she could to get the message to Dieter. She wasn't the type to leave herself vulnerable to attack.

While the figure was gone, Valencia could still hear them.Valencia pried into Dieter's mind, but found nothing but what he said. "Remember... Just you two... you never know, what I say might be benificial, and I might be doing some good in the world. Would that impress you?" She laughed a flirty laugh, then a beep signaled the termination of the contact.
Miles away, Valencia paged her secretary. "Mr. Hamilton? Be a doll and get anyone beneath me with concealment powers to contact me, and mabye some of my fellow officials. I have a few favours to call in..."

Weiss finally finished fishing out a good bottle of red wine and uncorked it with the finesse only a professional could muster. He filled one of his nice glasses halfway and presented it to Tiga regally, even giving the slightest of bows. "Would anyone else care for a glass while I have the bottle here?" he asked of the others in the room.
There was nothing like wine to help calm down after such an ordeal. All the negative thoughts that had previously been going through his head had indeed disappeared, as if nothing had ever happened. "Alyyarwen, would you care to give me a hand out here?"
Al was out in an instant, and got to work right away, seemingly having read Weiss' mind as to what exactly he was supposed to be doing. In reality it just came with having done this one too many times in the past. Normally he would have simply used Hallow to repair the damage, but there appeared to be vampires in the room and he didn't want to offend them. So instead he used Helping Hand and began to do the work manually.
