Dieter had often got 'word of his manor.' He liked to keep it more of a speculation of whether or not he was a front for someone stronger, a front for his sire, actually his sire, or more powerful than he let on. He named the place after his elven name and got the sign to read so as a means to provide confusion. Not many of the other vampire elders actually believed that he could have defeated the Numidian, much less exsanguinate him and gain some of his power. So he downplayed it.
"It's just a place I'm staying really. It just kind of seems to like having me around. That doesn't necessarily mean I own it." Dieter chugged a glass of blood. Dieter liked some good food to go down with his drinks. All he could really keep in his stomach other than blood was alcohol. It was some sort of weird food allergy he developed over the years. Dieter didn't know exactly how that happened.
"Its not a timeshare or anything like that. Just a little something someone gave me for defeating a certain someone. I don't want to go into it." Dieter paused. Caldera was interested in the Coven. Dieter didn't see that coming. Most people who knew what the Coven was, well the mortals at least, preferred to avoid appearing on the menu so to speak. It was a very different culture from the rest of the world and the Coven was willing to oblige invited guests. This didn't necessarily preclude all its citizens to do the same.
Dieter continued in between a few sips of his drink, "so you want to visit the coven and see the place. Well I warn you it isn't really a training ground. Its more of a place where you don't want to fight. Fighting means death in most parts of the Coven. Especially in the larger properties. I don't even have to set up any booby traps. Mizu kinda takes care of any trespassers. She gets a little zealous of it too." Dieter wanted to see how resolved she was to see it. He didn't think it'd make much difference. He'd have to warn her not to do something stupid like fire her gun at someone, go into places she wasn't supposed to, or opened doors that wanted to remain closed, or say some of the wrong things to Mizu. Mizu had some reservations regarding impolite guests. "If you're going to go you'll have to do exactly as I say. No questions asked. You'll be one of the few people who've seen the place and been allowed to leave. Are we clear on this?" Dieter understood he was responsible for his guest. If a vampire felt insulted by her he could demand a lot of things. None of which boded too well for Caldera as the Coven didn't like vain mortals and didn't let them leave with unfinished buisness, or could present political problems for Dieter.
