As Dieter walked he started thinking more on Caldera. She had it rough since she quited the Dragoons and people never bothered making life any easier for her. It seemed like she was expected to be at all times very tough and it was hard for her to let her guard down. "You know Caldera if you want to come here again I can arrange that. Either I or Mizu could come by and escort you here. Granted moving about the Coven is a bit tricky if you don't know some of the social etiquettes, but I think you would personally enjoy spending a night in the baths and the like. I wouldn't mind if you put some use into the house." Granted Mizu would be there and Caldera would only see what Mizu and Dieter wanted her to see during her visits. Also having a mortal going in and out of your house was always a sign of some status.

"More money and less responsibility is always a good thing." Dieter beamed as they continued down the pathway. The trees got darker and darker around them until it was pitch black. Then after walking further and further Caldera and Dieter reappeared from behind an abandoned warehouse in Palari.
"Well, here we are back in the human world. I hope you enjoyed seeing our homeland."

"Hang on a second Cal," Dieter looked her in the eyes and got in the way of her bike. "What is it you're trying to avoid telling me. I don't have to read minds to sense something's up." Dieter stood there, he put his hands on the handlebars of the bike and then kept them there. "Lord knows I have time and besides, although I handled a lot of the commute I could use a lift." Dieter could tell that Caldera's mannerisms hinted at something not being quite right with her. There was some sort of confession she'd have to make. Dieter knew it wasn't a love confession, it just didn't fit with her character. Plus Dieter usually just charmed people into thinking they were in love with him. It ain't nice but it's a good way to get more of that favorite flavor redhead at your local convenience store.

"Caldera, although every time I've tried to figure out how one works I've totaled the bike, I've been riding them since they were first invented. These motorized versions were especially cool when they got them to go really fast. Don't worry about me leaning into curves. If there's one thing I know its curves." The double entendra was just left at that.
Dieter got back onto the bike and put his hands around Caldera's waist, scooted up and then chuckled, "I must admit, this is the first time I've ridden b*tch." Dieter could sense Caldera's unhappiness. He hoped that Caldera would open up to him more. Dieter lived for the connections he made with people. Even if they were short lived mortal life long friends were as important to Dieter as his vampire and elven friends. They might be short lived but they deserved the same priority and treatment. In fact when someone had gotten the history of one of Dieter's life long friends wrong Dieter had to make a trip there to correct them on the misinterpretation and falsities in history.

Dieter then projected directions of how exactly to get to the apartment building he was staying at. He also pointed out some of the more dangerous, also known as fun, curves in the road that they could take to get there. He remained calm and poised as he leaned into curves and counterbalanced weight on the bike. Cars were annoying and encapsulating, Dieter didn't like them nearly as much as he enjoyed motor bikes. He could drive one but often walking, running, or jumping roof to roof got him where he needed to go fast enough. Really all Dieter was on the bike for was the ride. It was fun to speed along the road on the back of a motor bike, and since Dieter liked having fun he'd ride the motor bike. After all Dieter had been Caldera's mode of transportation all night.

Dieter smiled, "I'm surprised you haven't noticed its weight by now." Dieter lifted the concealing charm. He always loved pulling small jokes like that. He had given it to her while they were making the turns. Since the hands around her waist were acceptable it was fairly simple to slight of hand the gun back into her jacket. Especially when her concentration was directed elsewhere.
"My reckoning is pretty fast. That's not a half bad bike Cal. I hope you have a good one."

Dieter chuckled to himself. Tonight had been a wonderful evening and he looked even more forward to the activities of tomorrow. Dieter kept his head up and walked back toward his apartment. A delightful evening. It was nice not to have unexpected homicidal maniac visitations. They've been getting a little more frequent as of late.
