Alecta walked around the lobby gazing at all the furnishings and people she saw. Slowly she made her way over to a receptionist desk. Uhmm.. where do I go for my first day exactly? Alecta quickly backed away and went to sit on a couch. She had arrived way too early. The sun was still setting and it wasn't really time for her to be there. Nervously she looked around nothing to do but wait. Not wanting to make a fool of herself on the first day and not wanting to be late. can I ever win? she thought leaning over putting her head on her hands, her elbows on her knees. She had worn a old pair of torn jeans and a long-sleeve shirt with a tighter black and gray large striped shirt on top. Her hair was pulled back into a neat pony-tail. She looked around anxiously. There was so many people going home with blood. "At least no one is bleeding."She sighed under her breath.

Dieter couldn't help but notice the worrying pouring over the general area. He saw the opportunity for some fun and he couldn't resist. Dieter used his super speed to take a seat approximately behind the girl with her head on her hands and her knees to her elbows. He heard of some new blood vampires as he tries to keep track of new arrivals for The Elder Council. The girl hadn't committed any crimes the council knew about which was pretty much as good as not breaking any laws. Dieter leaned over with a newspaper and handed her a section of newspaper. He had found it in the seat across the way and decided it'd make a great prop.
"Here I'm done with this if you want it. If you're going to get out of work or have a nervous breakdown you need a good prop." Dieter shuffled some of the paper out for a bit of dramatic flare. Dieter thought he was funny which in Dieter's mind was the only thing that mattered. He already was going to look into her past but finding out what someone's really like could only be done in person.
"Name's Dieter, elite rookie if you will, and you might be Alecta?" He offered a hand for the customary greeting in America.

Alecta laughed at him sitting back up right shaking his hand. "Yes, I'm Alecta."She said slightly amused. She looked at the newspaper then back over to him, dropping her hand slowly. "No, I'm good."she said smiling taking the paper anyways.
She looked around then back to him. "So, what are you up to Dieter, The Elite Rookie." Alecta questioned him with a small laugh. I don;t think I've met a vampire before with such a sense of humor. She looked away again watching what people were left, which was still enough. slowly she looked back down at the paper flipping though it.
When she had rached the end she sat it down next to her in the seat. Alecta looked over to Dieter waiting to know his answer, brushing her bangs out of her eyes. She allowed a sigh to escape after a few minutes, she was bored at the moment and had no clue what to talk about.

"Well," Dieter paused. He had spent a few hours going over the insipid paperwork that had piled up on his desk. He completed all the paperwork and decided to return the favor in kind. On the respective official's desk he left all the signed reports that he had however he had printed them all off after sending them through a cyphering program he made. Sure he couldn't make coffee or bake cookies without causing something to explode. However when it came to codes Dieter was well practiced; they were practical for his days in wetwork and black ops and even more important in defense missions. Code and code cracking suited Dieter's talents, much like language. Granted he was no code breaker. Dieter could make them well but lacked the attention span to crack other people's codes. He left those in more capable hands. Dieter had actually designed his own little computer program (with much help mind you) to generate his own cyphers and loved to use arcaic symbols that people hadn't seen in quite some time.
Thus when the five letter, old German, word is the decoder to a cypher in Japanese he figured the official would have to come after him for the means to decode the message and then send it to someone who could cast tongues or speak Japanese. Until then Dieter thought he'd chill nonchalantly in the lounge.
"I'm waiting for some paperwork to get processed. So I figured I'd catch up on the paper and people watch. Part of a seraphs job you know, the people watching. You never know when some guy thinks he's sneaking something in. I've got some advantages in the detection field. Good sight, hearing, and all. This your first day?"

Alecta nodded her head slowly. "Yes, my very first day."She laughed looking down at the ground. "So, people watching...sounds interesting. What do you look for exactly?"She asked curious. She looked at some of the people wondering what could be sneak in, before returning her gaze to Dieter. So he just comes out here when nothing else need to be done, and watches everyone... she smiled slightly. sounds like fun!

Dieter put the newspaper up suddenly. Those Official guys sure do catch on fast. Either way if Dieter appeared unobtrusive and didn't call attention to himself he could draw the prank out longer. Then again they'd probably go after Ashen and make a big deal about things as per their usual. Either way, he left it the same as the one two months earlier. The fact that it was misplaced in their database was Dieter's fault but they couldn't prove it. Dieter hid casually behind the newspaper and answered Alecta.
"Mostly it isn't so much of what you see but what you hear and smell. Also it's an attitude. People wanting and preparing for an attack behave differently. Granted you can tell Dragoons and Enforcers apart sometimes. Also people don't generally want to attack this place, so apprehension makes people stick out. Its not like I act first anyway." Dieter waited casually as the Official started walking in his general direction.
((Feel free to take control of the Official.))

Alecta nodded looking over as if looking for nothing particular, just looking around. She saw the Official she assumed. Looking back over to Dieter she smiled. "That sounds like fun, I may try it sometime."She looked at the Official who was walking toward them from the corner of her eye. "So who is this..."She paused "Coming toward us?" Alecta wasn't as familiar with everyone as she guessed Dieter was.
{Okay I may after a while.}

The official made his way and crumpled Dieter's newspaper. "Dieter Helyanwe, your sense of humor is as obnoxious as ever." Dieter gave a bemused smile to the flustered short balding man standing before him. "You know before you came here I didn't know of anyone who would make me think twice about opening a folder, code things ridiculously or go through such great lengths to avoid the paperwork we do as standard protocol! I don't know what...."
Dieter muttered the five letter cypher. "I assume that's what you came for." The man startled and then looked at Dieter precariously.
"How do you spell that."
Dieter wrote it down on a newspaper. "How's Tokyo today?"
"I haven't.....you didn't." If looks were weapons Dieter would've tasted a lot of lead at this moment.
"Well I figured that old Japanese would be secure. I hope you enjoy Japan. At least I left you..."
"I know you left us the actual code as mandated by our orders. You still look for every way to circumvent our process. Why the hell do you do it?"
"Because most of it is frivolous and unnecessary. Since when did people need to document every time the boss goes and takes a piss. It used to be people didn't bother writing anything down unless it was damned important or involved taxes. Now you write for the sake of just having random stuff written down. Half of the things you take statements for is pretty stupid and the information had already been sent in person to the people who need to know. I don't stand for unimportance in a process but I happen to believe in TI so I put up with it. Now I think you'll find tomorrow's paperwork in the fourth floor women's lavatory."
"You're bluffing. I've never heard of you doing paperwork early. Usually Ashen get.."
Dieter cut the official off, "Ashen has a few days off and I like to be creative."
The man grumbled and took his paper with the five letter code away with him. Dieter especially loved to make people who believed in rules as absolutes miserable. Dieter recognized the man from his photo on the desk. If it wasn't for that he would've gone through an ID check just to be sure.
Just as he was five feet away the man muttered, "who in their right mind decided to have him head the Seraphs."
Dieter projected his voice so that it would be heard clearly but swiftly fade back into the background noise. "Torin, send a complaint and I'll put it on my wall. I'm running out of room."

Alecta had been looking between the two. When the short man left she turned back to Dieter. "What was, that all about?"She asked looking after the man. "He seems like a bundle of joy, just waiting to explode into a happy song at any second now." She added sarcastically rolling her eyes.

Dieter smiled gregariously, "well see, some people haven't learned about some of the uselessness of beaurocracy since China. I like to through eight wrenches in their gears. Anyway, what're you going to do today?" Dieter liked to hear enforcer's stories. Especially those of vampiric blood. Dieter could tell just by her smell that she was a vampire and thought it would be fun to have a discussion with her. That and pretending to do Council Orders in speaking with her got him out of work for at least another 15 minutes.

Alecta shrugged her shoulders. "Just here for the first day of work. I'm not really sure what all to do, so I came early."She laughed. I feel so stupid right now...didn't they tell me what to do? I must have been thinking about something else then if they did... "I don't think I was paying attention when and if whoever told me what to do for today."She admitted smiling sheepishly.

"That's a shame. Most of the enforcers have to undergo some hazing of a sort. Stand out here and make sure no one shoplifts. Here try on the uniform no casual days. All that boring stuff. You should probably ask for the receptionist and report directly to your boss. They'll get you started on the boring crap to break you in. It won't get you seeing the real action any time soon I'm afraid." Dieter liked the nonchalant attitude of his conversation partner. It sorta reminded him of himself. However he would've probably skipped the meeting altogether and have someone he knew was paying attention tell him later.

Alecta nodded looking over to the receptionist's desk. "All right then, boring it is then..."She sighed slowly getting up. "Nice to meet you."She added looking back to him. Alecta walked over to where the receptionist's so she could do as Dieter advised. "I am here for my first day..."She began looking at the receptionist with a small smile.
