Ok I was looking at all the character bios and while reading i saw that theres a ton of Vampires....I was told its not the focus but im not so sure. Where did the originality go? This is one of the most original sites ive ever been on if everyone wasnt a vampire. Oh btw Im not trying to insult anyone its just there are to many vampire sites. But hp is worse...

We're not a vampire-based site. It just so happens that we have a lot of characters who are vampires. This doesn't mean that the roleplayers who have vampires are necessarily uncreative, as all of the vampire characters have different personalities and attitudes. As far as numbers go, we currently have the same number of vampires as we do elves, and we have slightly more humans than both; we do not have a vampire majority. |

But I think they were talking about active players. Vampires shouldn't be quite so common, we might have to shut down Vampire acceptance soon...possibly.

I noticed the vampire thing as well, and my sentiments were somewhat similar to Rob's (er, Riana's <<). I think I may have to make some more concrete guidelines for the vampires some time soon too. But we shall see I guess  Thanks you for your concern as well. It's good to know what appeals to people and what doesn't. |

I believe the majority of our not-vampire-characters (Especially the elves, with the exception of Kyana) are active. If the vampire characters simply roleplay more often, little can be done to change that...I'm not against restricting vampire registration temporarily, but what I'm trying to say is "Don't hate on the vampires." Yeah, there's a bunch of them, but there's a bunch of elves, too. I feel like no one would assume that Tiric is elf-based because of that.  Honestly, I'm really surprised that we haven't had more people request to be demons. They're usually quite popular, as well. |

It's likely because of the short life span.
Which, by the way, is the intended effect of it. Since they're highly regulated, it just makes it easier if they aren't the most desirable for one reason or another.
Oh, and I'm not hating on the vampires, I just agree that we should maybe put a cap on them soon.
How many elves do we have anyway?

Goblins: 1
Dwarves: 1
My bad, I must have miscounted a little on the vampire/elf thing. But it is pretty close, isn't it?
