The pretty elven woman was wearing a nice black and white floral halter dress as she walked along the beach, letting her bare toes wriggle about freely in the sand and sink as the cool waters overlapped themselves against the shore. Her dark hair fluttered as the wind carried sounds and smells towards her, and she took a deep breath of salty air in.
Of all the places she had travelled to, she always enjoyed the beaches the best. They were so open to new possibilities, there was so much mystery and a silent danger about them as they whispered to you; drawing you nearer. And sometimes Kyana wished she could ignore her conscious and simply listen, and do as the waters told her.
Come here. Come into me.
The water's fine...

Athor walked along the beach, letting the sand sink in to his bare feet. He walked until he reached a nice spot to settle down, one that had perfect lighting, no shells or rocks, and definitely no bugs. He stood in place, closing his eyes and breathing in the smell of th ocean. A foot was dipped into the cool water, sending shivers up his spine. He turned and laid out a blanket, and started to work on a particularly thick book he was reading, Crafting; the practical art. . The book was amazing, as it started with the history of crafting, with the first tool makers, and then gave some master tips on making things, and even some blueprints that have step by step guides to making common objects.
Next to Athor was his backup book; a biography on Kyana Gatatea, the school's president. He hadn't touched that one, and skimming through the book he found no pictures, which was odd. He was deeply immersed in his reading, immersed enough to not see the elven woman a few yards beside him.

As Kyana neared the other elf, she found her attention being drawn away from the ocean and pulled towards the student. Frowning, she seemed to recall the boy’s photograph from a student file in her office. Shouldn’t he be in class? It was possible the boy didn’t have any classes today, but that would mean his list of classes was probably fairly short.
Noticing his ears, and recalling the word that showed up beside ‘Heritage:’ in his profile, she briefly wondered why he hadn’t noticed her yet. Elves were normally attentive, but she supposed that because they could also be incredibly focussed creatures, he could be so absorbed in his novel everything else disappeared around him... which could be dangerous for him in the future if he wasn’t careful.
As she examined him, her eyes came to the book which he wasn’t reading, and her lips curled into a condescending smirk. Her biography? Even she had yet to read it.
Finally approaching him, she put on an open smile and kind eyes, with slightly furrowed brow.
“Hello?”

Athor looked up with a start. The wman appeared to be elven, and seemed to have a kind smile on. Athor was wary, and smiled back. "Hi there... um... er..." Was he supposed to know her? There was a possibility that she was a different relative, but she looked so different from his family. "I'm.... reading a book." Gee, that's nice. What he was supposed to say, he had no idea. Just not that. "Do, do I know you?" He wanted to jump ino the waters of the beach. Athor started to wrap his hair around his ears nervously, biting his lip.

Dieter didn't often take trips to the beach. It wasn't that he particularly disliked beaches,it was more or less he didn't get much time to appreciate them. As soon as the sun set it was, "Diplomat Harvy needs his escort pronto," or, "someone tried to sneak this in and is awaiting questioning." Being engrossed in work wasn't a bad thing, it just meant he didn't get to pick up snacks on the beach that often. Not that he often did. Usually beaches were too little too late in terms of the tricking scene. Usually women who were alone wanted to keep the end of their day that way and relax, or were with someone they'd met while the sun was up.
The cool sunset breeze was perfect. A bit early in the night but beaches are best at early twilight. Most people finishing their basking in the sunset and welcoming the onset of night. Twilight being such a mystical time held its charm.
Wearing casual sandals and jeans were the right choice for this trip to the beach. No one would bother Dieter with work for an hour or two. The beach seemed fairly lonely except for the two strangers that happened upon eachother. Dieter paused and did a double take on the elven woman. Could that be Mrs. Galetea, or was her name Galerea, or could it even be Calatea. All well, they seem distracted open enough to conversation.
"Wonderful evening isn't it Mrs. Calethia." It is at this moment Dieter cursed his sudden forgetfulness with names, "who might this young student be."
