If you're looking for a place to roleplay and don't want to start your own, try checking out some of the open threads listed below! We'll update the list once people make more open roleplays, and take down listed threads once someone posts there. If you post at a roleplay on this list, be sure to post here saying that you posted there, so we can take it off the list!
What is an "open roleplay?"
An open roleplay is a thread in which any character is free to post there. Sometimes, threads are reserved for a specific character, but unless it says that it's reserved in the title, or at the top/bottom of a post, you're free to reply! Threads that mention another character but do not state they are reserved are still open!
So once someone posts in an open roleplay, it's not open anymore?
Not necessarily! If two people are roleplaying and it does not say it is reserved for that character, you can probably jump in. However, once two people start roleplaying they might decide they don't want another character interrupting; you might want to ask if you can join before posting. We only list open roleplays that no one has replied to here, so they are not overlooked by other members, and so that members are free to join without worry of intruding or interrupting an ongoing roleplay.
Do open roleplays have to have (open) in their title to be open?
As long as it isn't specified anywhere in the title or first post that it's reserved for someone, it's open. Having (open) in the title is just like adding an exclamation point to the end of a sentence, really.
Can I roleplay in more than one place at once?
Yes! In fact, we encourage you to. Even if you're using the same character, you can post in more than one thread at a time. Since your character can't possibly be in two places at once, we simply assume that the roleplays take place at different times.
